The first edition of Jurnal Absis was published in volume 1 no 1 of 2018. This edition features articles related to the analysis of students' mathematical abilities, innovative media development for teaching mathematics, and mathematical research. The authors of these articles come from two educational institutions in Indonesia, namely the State Islamic University of North Sumatra and Universitas Pasir Pengaraian. By reading this edition, it is hoped that readers can gain new insights and information that can help improve their understanding of the latest developments in the field of mathematics education.
