Jurnal Absis: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika dan Matematika will adopt a new publication schedule starting in 2024, releasing issues in April, August, and December. From Vol 7 No 1 onwards, all articles will be published entirely in English. This change aims to increase the number of published articles and enhance the quality and relevance of the research.

The Absis Journal publishes a variety of scientific articles focusing on the development of teaching materials and mathematics learning tools based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and other approaches to enhance students' critical thinking, communication, and mathematical skills. This issue includes contributions from authors at prominent institutions such as the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Kerinci, Siliwangi University, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta, and Riau University. Topics discussed include the development of learning modules for linear programming, contextual learning approaches, the integration of Islamic values into mathematics learning, and the analysis of student errors in solving higher-order thinking problems.
