Digital Archiving

Jurnal Absis: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika dan Matematika is committed to preserving the scholarly record and maintaining long-term access to its published content. This digital archiving policy describes the journal's approach to preserving articles, associated metadata, and published issues, while supporting responsible dissemination through institutional and scholarly repositories.

1. Digital Preservation Frameworks

Jurnal Absis supports distributed digital preservation approaches, including the following established frameworks:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe). LOCKSS enables participating libraries to collect and preserve copies of digital publications, helping protect scholarly content against loss and supporting long-term access. Further information is available from the LOCKSS Program.
  • CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe). CLOCKSS provides a distributed preservation infrastructure designed to protect scholarly publications over time, including arrangements for access when defined preservation triggers occur. Further information is available from CLOCKSS.

The availability of these frameworks through Open Journal Systems (OJS) does not, by itself, constitute confirmation of active deposit or participation in either preservation network. Such arrangements depend on the applicable technical configuration and participation requirements.

2. Journal Archives and Published Records

Published issues, article pages, and available full-text files are maintained and made accessible through the journal's OJS website. The online archive provides access to the journal's publication history, including earlier volumes and issues. Readers may consult the complete collection through the Jurnal Absis Archives.

The journal recognizes the importance of retaining article files, bibliographic metadata, and publication records for future discovery, citation, and recovery. Long-term preservation measures are reviewed in coordination with the journal's publishing institution and technical administrators.

3. Author Self-Archiving

Authors retain the copyright to their work and may share and archive the published version of their articles in institutional repositories, non-commercial scholarly repositories, and personal academic websites, provided that the original publication in Jurnal Absis is properly acknowledged and the applicable license terms are respected.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). Authors and readers should refer to the journal's Copyright and License policy for the conditions governing reuse and distribution.

4. Continuity of Scholarly Access

Jurnal Absis aims to maintain the availability, integrity, and discoverability of its published articles over time. If the publishing platform, hosting arrangements, or journal management change, the editorial team will work with the publisher to preserve existing publication records and maintain access to archived scholarly content wherever practicable.
