Declaration Statements
All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Absis: Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika dan Matematika must include four declaration statements to promote transparency, accountability, and responsible scholarly publication. Authors must complete each statement accurately, including when no artificial intelligence tools were used, no funding was received, or no conflicts of interest exist.
Placement in the manuscript: Insert the statements after the Acknowledgment section (if any) and before References, in this order: Artificial Intelligence Statement → Author Contribution Statement → Funding Statement → Conflict of Interest Statement.
1. Artificial Intelligence Statement
Authors must disclose whether generative artificial intelligence (AI) or AI-assisted technologies were used in conducting the research or preparing the manuscript. When applicable, identify the tool and explain its purpose. AI tools must not be listed as authors. The authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all content.
If no AI tool was used:
The authors did not use generative AI or AI-assisted tools in conducting this research or preparing this manuscript.
If AI was used for grammar and language editing:
The authors used ChatGPT (OpenAI) solely to assist with grammar checking, language editing, and improving the clarity of the manuscript. All AI-assisted output was reviewed and verified by the authors, who remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the manuscript.
If AI was used for other aspects of manuscript preparation:
The authors used ChatGPT (OpenAI) to assist with language editing and improving the readability of selected sections of the manuscript. The tool was not used to generate research data, conduct data analysis, draw conclusions, or replace the authors' scholarly judgment. All AI-assisted output was reviewed and verified by the authors.
These examples should be adapted to reflect the actual use of AI. Authors must not copy a statement that does not accurately describe their work.
2. Author Contribution Statement
Each manuscript must describe the actual contribution of every author. Jurnal Absis uses the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) as a guide. An author may hold more than one role, but only roles that reflect genuine contributions should be assigned. Honorary or gift authorship is not permitted.
