Allegation of Research Misconduct

Allegation of Research Misconduct

Riau Jurnal Teknik Informatika (RJTI) takes all allegations of research and publication misconduct seriously. Misconduct includes, but is not limited to, plagiarism, data fabrication or falsification, redundant or duplicate publication, improper authorship, citation manipulation, undisclosed conflicts of interest, and manipulation of the peer-review process.

Allegations are assessed according to the nature of the concern and the available evidence, following applicable Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidance. The journal does not automatically treat an allegation as established misconduct; the authors or other relevant parties will be given an appropriate opportunity to respond.

Where appropriate, the journal may contact authors, reviewers, institutions, or research-integrity officers as part of the assessment. Depending on the outcome, appropriate action may include rejection, correction, retraction, expression of concern, notification of the author's institution, or other measures necessary to protect the integrity of the scholarly record. All such matters are handled confidentially.
