Post-Publication Discussion

Post-Publication Discussion

Tepak Sirih: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Madani welcomes evidence-based questions, comments, and responses concerning its published articles, as part of its commitment to the integrity and continuous improvement of the published record. Scholarly disagreement does not automatically establish an error or misconduct.

Scope of Discussion

  • The community problem, approach, and method of implementation;
  • Interpretation of outcomes and their significance;
  • Relevant evidence or experience that materially affects interpretation;
  • Reproducibility, transferability, and sustainability of the activity;
  • Potential factual errors or omissions requiring clarification.

Submission of Comments

Comments may be submitted to the editorial office through the journal's contact page, using the subject line Post-Publication Discussion: [Article Title or DOI], with a clear explanation of the question, specific references to the relevant passages, supporting evidence where appropriate, and the contributor's name, affiliation, and any competing interests.

Assessment and Publication

Editors assess comments for relevance, clarity, evidence, scholarly value, and respectful presentation, and may invite the original authors to respond. Criticism is not excluded merely because it challenges the original article. The journal may decline material containing personal attacks, abusive language, unsupported accusations, or confidential personal information.

Discussion alone does not alter an article. Identified errors are addressed under the journal's Withdrawal, Correction, and Retraction policy, and suspected misconduct is handled under the Allegation of Research Misconduct policy.
