Authorship Criteria

Authorship Criteria

Authorship of a manuscript published in Tepak Sirih: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Madani must be based on a substantive contribution to the community service work. In line with recognized authorship standards, each listed author is expected to have:

  1. Made a substantial contribution to the conception, design, or implementation of the community service activity, or to the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of its outcomes;
  2. Drafted the work or revised it critically for important intellectual content;
  3. Approved the final version to be published; and
  4. Agreed to be accountable for all aspects of the work.

All authors must approve the submitted and final versions of the manuscript. Individuals who contributed but do not meet all of these criteria (for example, logistical help, funding, or general supervision) should be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section rather than listed as authors.

The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all listed authors meet the authorship criteria and that the author list and order are agreed by all authors. Any change to authorship after submission requires written agreement from all authors. Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
