Electronic Filing

The Jurnal Aplikasi Teknologi (APTEK) utilizes Open Journal Systems (OJS) support for the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system to ensure the secure and sustainable storage and preservation of journal archives. LOCKSS is open-source software developed by the Stanford University Libraries. The system enables libraries to periodically store backup copies from registered journal sites, including the latest published content. Each archived copy is regularly verified by comparing it with copies stored at other libraries. If corrupted or missing data is detected, the system can restore the content using intact copies from other archives. Through this mechanism, the continuity of access and the integrity of scholarly content are better guaranteed over the long term.
