Conflicts of interest can compromise objectivity during the research and publication processes. Therefore, we have established a policy to address conflicts of interest among authors, reviewers, editors, and other stakeholders involved in the publication process at Jurnal Aplikasi Teknologi (APTEK):

Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to APTEK are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the conduct or reporting of their research.This includes financial interests, affiliations, relationships, or other circumstances that might be perceived as influencing the author's research work.

Reviewers

Reviewers participating in the peer-review process for articles submitted to APTEK are expected to declare any conflicts of interest that could affect their ability to provide an impartial and unbiased evaluation.Reviewers must recuse themselves from the review process if they have personal, professional, or financial interests related to the research or its findings.

Editors

Editors and members of the APTEK editorial board must disclose conflicts of interest related to research articles currently being processed.Editors must recuse themselves from handling a research article if they have a conflict of interest or are unable to provide an impartial evaluation.Decisions regarding the handling and publication of research articles will be made with transparency and integrity, taking into account any potential conflicts of interest among editorial staff.

Transparency and Disclosure

We are committed to ensuring transparency and the disclosure of conflicts of interest throughout the entire process, from submission to publication. All relevant conflicts of interest disclosed by authors, reviewers, and editors will be published alongside the research article or disclosed in editorial materials, as appropriate. Conflicts of interest will be managed in accordance with established policies and guidelines to ensure integrity and fairness in the publication process.
