Complaints & Appeals
Fair process
Procedural concerns and editorial appeals receive documented review.
A complaint concerns journal conduct or service; an appeal asks the journal to reconsider an editorial decision because of a specific error in process or assessment.
The official journal email has not yet been configured. This procedure becomes fully operational when the approved contact address is published on the Contact page.
Submitting a complaint or appeal
Identify the manuscript or article, describe the concern clearly, explain the requested outcome, and provide relevant evidence. Disagreement with a decision alone is not sufficient; an appeal should identify a material factual, procedural, ethical, or interpretive issue.
Handling process
Acknowledgement and record
The journal records the submission and checks whether enough information has been provided.
Independent review
A person not directly responsible for the disputed action should review the available record when practicable.
Reasoned outcome
The journal communicates the outcome and the basis for it. Further review may be limited when the same issue has already been fully considered.
Respect and confidentiality
All parties should communicate professionally. Personal information and unpublished material will be shared only as needed to assess the matter.
