Preservation
Long-term access requires more than online publication.
JPSE distinguishes between metadata dissemination and a verified digital preservation arrangement.
The OJS configuration exposes journal metadata through OAI-PMH. No LOCKSS, CLOCKSS, or other long-term preservation service is currently enabled or announced.
Metadata access
OAI-PMH allows compatible services to harvest journal metadata. Metadata harvesting improves discovery but does not by itself constitute long-term preservation of article files.
Preservation commitment
The journal should approve and configure a recognised preservation arrangement before making a public preservation claim. Once established, this page will identify the service, coverage, and responsibilities accurately.
Version of record
Corrections, retractions, and other post-publication notices should remain linked to the published record so that readers can identify the current status of an article.
