The measured mathematical reasoning ability indicators include presenting mathematical statements in written and pictured (I<sub>1</sub>), submitting conjectures (I<sub>2</sub>), manipulating mathematics (I<sub>3</sub>), compiling evidence, giving reasons for the truth of the solution (I<sub>4</sub>), and making conclusions (I<sub>5</sub>). This research was a descriptive qualitative research with the subject of research were the students of class XII IPS 2 of SMA Negeri 5 Batam, which number 43 students. Data collection techniques using tests and interviews. The data collected was analyzed by procedures according to Miles and Huberman which included data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. Based on the analysis results, there were 32.5% of the subjects studied had a high mathematical reasoning ability by obtaining an average of 78.11 which needs to be increased again to I<sub>5</sub> because it obtained an average with a low category of 47.43%. Students and teachers cannot interact directly during the learning process with an online learning system, which is different from the previous one, where students and teachers learn face-to-face. Therefore, the researcher wants to analyze the self-confidence level of middle school students in this pandemic. This research uses a qualitative method (descriptive), with 36 students from SMP Negeri 1 Rawamerta as subjects. Based on the results of this research, the obtained indicator percentage are: 1) belief in oneself 53,17%; 2)not giving up 47,78%; 3)not depending on others 58,33%; 4)responsible 76,39%; 5)high achiever; 6)dare to express opinions 34,03% with the average amount of 56,06%. The incompatibility instruments arranged by the teacher based on the 2013 Curriculum inspired this research. The 4-D development model was used in this study, and it consists of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating stages. The validation sheet and student response questionnaires were the instruments used in this study. The learning that was developed was validated by three of the validators and revised based on their suggestions. With very valid categories, the average score of the validation results for the syllabus is 3,79, lesson plans are 3,81, and student worksheet is 3,73. This validation indicates that the syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheet can be sampled. Then, in small groups, valid student worksheets are tested. The average percentage of small group trial results for student worksheets is 92,29 percent, with a very practical category. Qualitative descriptive is used as a research method and is carried out at Indraprasta University PGRI Jakarta. Three students who took the Introductory Basic Mathematics course in the odd semester of the academic year 2020/2021, were selected as research subjects. The taking of the subject is done using purposive sampling. The instruments used are tests of mathematical creative thinking skills and early mathematical abilities, interview guidelines, and researchers as key instruments. Activities in this data analysis include data reduction, data display, and verification. The validity test of this research uses triangulation. This study uses the development or R&amp;D method using the ADDIE model, namely: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The data collection technique used is validation data from experts. The data analysis technique is validation data analysis. From the study results, the results of the RPP validation were 86.77% in the very valid category, and the LKPD validation results were 85.41% in the very valid category. The results of the dialogue on preliminary observations with a mathematics subject teacher at a junior high school in Malang showed that many students could not model problems in the form of mathematics. According to the Newman stage, this study aims to analyze students' mistakes in working on story questions about fractions. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. A total of 23 students were given instruments in the form of 2 fraction test questions. Based on the test scores obtained, the students were categorized (high, medium, and low), and two subjects were selected for each category for the interview. They were checking the validity of the findings using the triangulation technique, namely, by comparing the results of direct observation, student test results, and interview data. Based on the research results, there were three biggest mistakes of the students: transformation errors, reading errors, and misunderstanding of the questions. This research is an experimental study with a pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all class VII students, totaling 42 students. The instrument used is a mathematical problem-solving ability test and a learning independence questionnaire. This study indicates that the average value of the initial test of problem-solving ability is 43.05, and the average value of the final test of learning independence is 57.55. The average value of the initial questionnaire for learning independence was 63.88, and the average value of the final questionnaire was 70.76. The results of the Mathematical Problem Solving Ability test's hypothesis test with t-count = 10,073 and t-table = 1,66 so that t-count &gt; t-table. The Independent Learning Questionnaire hypothesis results with t-count = 3.53 and t-table = 1.66 so that t-count &gt; t-table.
